Analysing 3 Different Clips.




The Hunger Games - President Snow's Panem Adress.

Genre:
Hunger games is a film of a variety of genres but it is mainly Sci-Fi drama. This video is advertising the new Hunger Games movie - Mocking Jay Part 1- which is coming out in November. 

Audience:
In my opinion, this film is for young teenage girls in between the ages 12+ especially as this film is based on the book which was written for girls. Most teens that watch this are females but 20% are young males who usually find it boring. However, the range of ages for the females may vary as the older females read more than some teenagers. Also, people who are big fans of the characters, Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Jeffrey Wright, will be the audience of this movie too, as they would try to support who they love.This film would be for people who love humour, horror, romance films all in one. This is due to the fact that this movie contains many scence with different genres.

Platform:
Although you first watch this at the cinema, it will be coming out on DVD's. After it is first seen in public, the movie will be available on sites like Netflix, so younger users can watch it on their phones and tablets.


Nike Sports Advert

This is a television advert. Normally adverts are about 90 seconds however this one is 4 minutes. 

Audience:
The audience of this advert would be to boys and men who are big football fans as this advert is promoting their nike shoes. At the start, it gives us an idea of who it is aimed at as all throughout the advert, boys or teenage boys are show cased. There are hardly any girls therefore the audience for this advert is 90% out of 100% for males and teenage boys. It is also a famous advert for all the footie fans because many hero's and football legends are in this advert so their fans would watch it.

Platform:
This is firstly shown on TV before a football game, or the World Cup Right this moment. It can later be watched on YouTube using your mobile devices, tablets, computers, laptops and many more.

The text of this clip is a music video. This video highlights many quotes and ways of living your life so people can change. It is also about his life and his changing for the best as he entered one of the most global shows - X Factor USA.

Audience:
Chris Rene is not as popular as music artists like Justin Bieber, The Vamps as he became famous entering The X Factor, so the audience to this clip is people who watch reality/talent programmes as this is where they could find people like Chris. I think mainly young teenage girls, 12+ and men who used to drink will appreciate this video more than others because the beat is catchy and also the men that used to drink can change their life following Chris and they can relate to this song. You can also tell this is a video aimed at young teenage boys and middle aged men as the main role of this video is a young middle aged man.

This video is mainly out on YouTube but viewers can watch it on any other devices such as their mobile phones, tablets, computers and TV'S.
