NCIS Analytical Task.

Love, Rosie.

Narrative: This is a romantic drama film as the story line consist of two characters; Rosie Dunne (Lily Collins) and Alex Stewart (Sam Claflin) being best friend but are developing feelings for each other. This is a typical romantic comedy because it includes a love triangle between three different people.

Character: The 3 main characters are typical for this love story. The hearth throb - Greg, who Rosie gets pregnant by. He is a typical 'gangster' at her school.  The best friend; Alex, who Rosie falls in love with without realising. Lastly, the main character; Rosie.

Iconography: There are many aspects of iconography for romantic comedy in this trailer. It shows us the key features; relationships, kissing scenes, 2 close friends, love triangle, heart breaks, moving away from each other. All of these feature are typical in a romantic comedy and the story builds around them.

Setting: Although there are many settings in this trailer the main one is when Rosie and Alex are at their friends party. A lot of the movie happens in this setting however, the camera pans over to many different settings such as the beach, hotel room, a beautiful city.

Hunger Games - MockingJay.

Narrative: This is a Sci-Fi movie trailer. The main heroine in this is Katniss Everdeen, who didn't want anything dramatic to happen. There is Gale, her best friend who loves her as they send more time with each other and the other main character; Peeta Mellark, who is partially the reason Katniss is at war with the capitol.

Characters: The characters of this film are Katniss, the people's hero. Unlike other films, they hero of the film is a female role. Gale, a friend that sticks next to her through everything but leaves when she ends up with Peeta. Peeta is Katniss's weak spot as she loves him but doesnt realise until she looses him.

Iconography: There is plenty of iconography typical of the Sci-Fi genre such as space chips, mutts, holograms, new technology, bows and arrows. Also, there are bombs, explosion being thrown around to give it the violence effect which is well-known in a Sci-Fi film to build tension. Another iconography is the love between two characters, Katniss and Peeta. This is used to leave the audience wondering as the film focuses more on the violent side of the film.

Setting: Although this trailer is 1:48 minutes late, we know the movie is set in the Capitol as most of the fighting scenes are filmed in the battle field. Things you see in the Capitol consists of broken buildings, smoke, fire. Another main setting in this film is where most of the technology is used to hack President Snow's system is the District 13 head quarters.

The Forger.

Narrative: The genre of this film is Drama. The story behind this is a young male has a passion for art. He ends up meeting a girl who changes his life and a manager who gets him in a lot of trouble. Throughout the film, he realises his violent self. Violence takes over and he's not the same person.

Characters: The main character is a young, average boy; Joshua played my Josh Hutcherson. Also, the girl he falls in love with Amber. She takes time to realise that she loves him. The last person is the man who promises Joshua money, Everly. He is the typical big guy, that smokes, has a lot of money and is always wearing a suit.

Iconography: This is clearly drama as there is a lot of things going on in this one trailer. There is Joshua falling in love, finding a gun, being violet towards people, black-mailing. Those are the key aspects of a drama film. Also, we can tell what the genre is because the main character causes a lot of drama.

Setting: Throughout this trailer, there are many settings, however, the main one is when Joshua is the office with Everly because that is where most of the dramatic and life changing scenes happen.
